If you have the experience and skills to be the Assistant Production Plant Manager that is responsible for all Manufacturing, Packaging, Inventory, and Logistics as well as manufacturing support functions:
Quality and Maintenance this is the position for you.
You will provide leadership and guidance to production and maintenance teams and establishing good working relationships with the company's teams and customers.
This is a growing and dynamic company that is part of a multinational group.
-Manage plant personnel on a day-to-day basis, including developing employees by establishing, managing, and maintaining a well-trained and motivated staff.
-Initiate plans and processes, which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of employees, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
-Manage solid relationships with suppliers, purchasing and receiving of raw materials, packaging, labeling, etc.
-Manage the production scheduling and ensure all manufactured and packaged products meet quality standards.
Utilizing company software, SAP.
-Monitor stock turnover, conduct periodic inventories, and complete annual audits.
Communicate effectively with all personnel to accomplish business plant and office objectives.
-Help maintain, develop, and administer all appropriate industrial and chemical safety training programs as required by the appropriate regulatory agencies (e.
g.
, Haz-com, IIPP, etc.
) Oversee all plant maintenance and repair activities with on-site staff or equipment service technicians, including ongoing process improvements and new machinery installation.
-Maintain and develop maintenance schedules for new and existing equipment.
-Handle projects and other activities as necessary and directed by the Production Plant Manager.
REQUIREMENTS-5 or more years' experience in agricultural plant management preferred experience in micronutrients-Bilingual and biliterate English/Spanish-Bachelor's degree in ag or production technology related discipline desirable.
