Parenting Network Dinuba Family Resource Center Parenting Network Dinuba Family Resource Center Dinuba, CA Dinuba, CA Full-time Full-time $17 - $19 an hour $17 - $19 an hour 21 hours ago 21 hours ago 21 hours ago The primary responsibilities of the Project Fatherhood Facilitator are to promote responsible fatherhood through the implementation of support groups, workshops, and utilization of various curriculum.
The facilitator will educate fathers on the importance of father involvement, identify barriers, and develop effective skills to address the family needs.
The facilitator will acquire knowledge on the use of evidence based curriculum and work on all related task to effectively execute fidelity requirements.
The facilitators goals consist of 1) increasing parental knowledge to promote responsible parenting 2) Assist fathers to address the issues that negatively impact their relationship(s) and provide knowledge and create activities that promote healthy relationships 3) identify economic issues and promote activities for a pathway to economic stability and 4) conduct community outreach for the recruitment of fathers to increase participation efforts and promote father involvement.
Essential Functions Completion of intakes in a timely manner and following proper procedures with new fathers Secure and maintain confidentiality of all information collected and or provided by clients Complete reports of abuse to Child Welfare Services and Adult Protective Services when necessary Work in coordination with management in regards to matters pertaining to child care, transportation, food provisions, and all group activities Appropriately communicate any program needs (e.
g.
forms, curriculum, barriers) Monitor father attendance and work to address any issues with inconsistencies and following proper fidelity procedures Conduct 1-on-1 meetings or make-ups with fathers in an effort to ensure success Create and maintain client files that include but not limited to case notes, group notes, attendance, pre/post-test, items received, updates, and certificates of completion o The completion of evaluations/assessments are to be completed in a timely manner Adherence to best practice guidelines regarding the implementation of any curriculum utilized within Project Fatherhood (e.
g.
Nurturing Fathers, 24/7 Dad, MIRG, On My Shoulders) Acquiring knowledge of Tulare County Child Welfare and Family Court systems Attend additional trainings to improve level of competency in various areas (e.
g.
substance abuse, family violence, child development) Preparing and submission of group/individual progress, demographics, and reports when requested Participation in community outreach efforts to promote father involvement and program recruitment (e.
g.
networking, presentations, booth) Creating and implementing family oriented events and workshops directed towards fathers/children Creating flyers, brochures, or printed material to promote the program and all activities Check emails daily and keep calendar up to date and accurate Proper adherence to Parenting Network policies and procedures pertaining to Project Fatherhood Other duties as assigned Job Type:
